Since 2012, Michael Joseph Harris and the Hot Club of Baltimore have been playing Django Reinhardt's gypsy jazz and old French waltzes in a cozy basement room in Hampden — no cover, no pretense, just musicians who've been doing this so long it feels like a neighborhood secret. Fourteen years running and it's still the best Monday night in the city. Go sit close to the band.
