Baltimore’s Vibes, 7 Days a Week
Saturday, Baltimore. This is the one you clear the whole day for. beabadoobee brings The Powerlines Tour to Merriweather, Plies takes over Nevermore Hall, Backyard Band headlines a go-go cookout at Pier Six, and — biggest story of the week — the 8x10 is BACK after its summer sale, reopening under new ownership two nights ago and already slinging shows again. Throw in a taco festival, a haunted house, Fiesta Baltimore, live racing at Laurel, and Towson football, and you've got 31 verified ways to spend your Saturday. Let's go.

🆕 What's New
The 8x10 is open again. Federal Hill's legendary rock club, sold to Rising Sun Presents this summer, threw open its doors October 8 with a sold-out reopening show headlined by new co-owner Cris Jacobs. Dan Deacon and Rebirth Brass Band are already on the books for later this year. Tonight's bill — Oh He Dead with Virg — is only the second show back. More from Baltimore Magazine.

⭐ Our Bonus Pick
beabadoobee: The Powerlines Tour w/ Wisp @ Merriweather Post Pavilion — Gates 6:30 PM, show 8 PM
There's a reason this is the one everyone's been counting down to. beabadoobee went from bedroom-pop sad-girl favorite to genuine arena-scale headliner in about three years flat, and The Powerlines Tour is her biggest production yet. Merriweather's amphitheater bowl under the October sky, Wisp opening, and a setlist that spans her whole catalog — this is the night you tell people you were at. Get there for the opener, stay for the encore, and don't be the person stuck in the Columbia traffic when the lights go down.

That's a Wrap!
31 verified reasons to leave the house tonight, and that's before you count the 8x10 just coming back to life two blocks from Federal Hill. Tomorrow's a Sunday — we'll have your slower, brunchier guide ready in the morning.
Until then: yodel it from the rooftops. 🗣️⛰️
