Charm City Yodeller
Sunday, October 11, 2026 · Baltimore's Vibes, 7 Days a Week
Sunday in Baltimore means prime time football, a sold-out gothic-punk show, and a 25-year-old bookshop throwing itself a backyard party. The Ravens kick off at 8:20 PM on NBC in Atlanta, AFI packed Nevermore Hall solid enough weeks ago that it's sold out, and over on Falls Road the Ivy Bookshop is marking a quarter-century with wood-fired pizza, poetry, and lawn games — our Bonus Pick, and for good reason. Thirty events below, from black metal at the Ottobar to a full mandolin orchestra in Parkville. Get out there before the week starts again.
🎵 Music & Nightlife
All-Day Live Music @ Cat's Eye Pub
Three real bands keep this Fell's Point corner bar covered start to finish. No cover, like always.
Panopticon, Catharsis, Born of Plagues @ Ottobar
Atmospheric black metal heavyweight Panopticon rolls through with Catharsis and Born of Plagues in support. Doors at 7 PM, tickets $25 — the kind of bill that makes a Sunday feel like a Friday.

⭐ Our Bonus Pick
The Ivy Bookshop's 25th Birthday Party
3:30 PM · The Ivy Bookshop Garden, 5928 Falls Road · Free
Twenty-five years is a long time for an independent bookstore to survive, let alone thrive, and the Ivy is throwing itself the backyard party it's earned — wood-fired pizza, ice cream, live music, poetry, and lawn games, with "incredible friends" promised and not yet named. This is the kind of afternoon that reminds you why Baltimore's independent bookshops are worth showing up for. Go say happy birthday.
That's a Wrap!
That's 30 events for your Sunday — now go pick one, or ten. Tomorrow's a Monday, so ease in gently: Metal Monday, trivia, and the usual midweek-adjacent gems are already lining up.
Until then: yodel it from the rooftops. 🗣️⛰️
