Baltimore's Vibes, 7 Days a Week
Sunday means one thing first: Ravens vs. Titans at M&T Bank Stadium, 1 PM, and half the city is either in the stands or camped at a brewery with a basket of nachos. Stay out past the final whistle, though, because G-Eazy and Logic close out summer at Merriweather, Jeru the Damaja marks 30 years of Wrath of the Math at Soundstage, and Studio Ghibli heads get an entire candlelit night devoted to Joe Hisaishi downtown. Add a jazz legend at Keystone Korner, a drag clothing swap, a BMA photography blowout, and a 1700s walking tour through Baltimore Town, and that's 33 reasons to get off the couch. Let's get into it.

Three young chamber musicians making their Baltimore debut with Haydn, Gabriela Lena Frank, Paul Schoenfield, and Dvořák — the kind of discovery-concert Shriver Hall does better than almost anyone. Free, with a suggested $10 donation, 3 PM at the BMA.

⭐ Our Bonus Pick
Candlelight: The Best of Joe Hisaishi @ Maryland Center for History and Culture
6 PM · tickets via baltimore.org
If you've ever cried at a Studio Ghibli movie — and you have — this is the night to go feel that again on purpose. A string ensemble plays Hisaishi's scores for Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, and more, in a room lit entirely by candlelight. It's the kind of concert that sells out its city on the strength of word of mouth alone, and it is not coming back around next week. Go.
That's a Wrap!
Thirty-three verified reasons to leave the house today, and that's before you've even opened the fridge. Tomorrow we ease into the week — Monday means low-key, Metal Monday, and the first slow exhale of a new seven days. See you then.
Until then: yodel it from the rooftops. 🗣️⛰️
