Baltimore's Vibes, 7 Days a Week
You've earned this one, Baltimore. Thursday's stacked: industrial legends Nitzer Ebb crash into Soundstage, High Zero Festival kicks off four nights of gloriously weird improvised music at Theatre Project, and Rosebud Baker headlines The Port. Zydeco, a jazz orchestra, an album release, a house show from a Heartless Bastard, and more comedy and screens than you've got hours for. 28 things worth leaving the couch for tonight — let's get into it.

⚾ Sports & Outdoors
It's an honest-to-god dark night on the Baltimore sports calendar. Orioles are between series (they open at Yankee Stadium tomorrow). Ravens don't play until Sunday, when they take on the Cowboys in Rio. Laurel Park's fall meet only races Friday through Sunday, so no post there either. If you need your sports fix, circle the weekend — everything picks back up Friday.

⭐ Our Bonus Pick
High Zero Festival — Night 1 of 4 @ Baltimore Theatre Project · 8:30 PM · $75 all 4 nights / $25 single night / $15 students-seniors-artists
Baltimore's own festival of improvised, boundary-erasing music kicks off tonight and runs through Sunday. High Zero has been bringing experimental musicians together from around the world for over two decades — no setlists, no rehearsals, just people building something out of nothing in real time, in the room, right now. Tonight's night one of four, so if you only catch one, this is a great place to start — and if you want to go deep, the four-night pass is $75. This is the kind of thing you genuinely cannot see anywhere else.

That's a Wrap!
That's Thursday, Baltimore — 28 ways to get out of the house tonight. The Sports & Outdoors well is bone dry (see above), but the weekend's got you: Orioles open at Yankee Stadium Friday, Ravens play the Cowboys in Rio Sunday, and Laurel Park racing resumes Friday. Tomorrow's edition is coming together already — see you then.
Until then: yodel it from the rooftops. 🗣️⛰️
