Baltimore's Vibes, 7 Days a Week

Big news before we even get to tonight's lineup: The 8x10 is back. Federal Hill's legendary little room — the one everybody swore was gone for good — is open again under new ownership, and it's throwing a certified jam-band supergroup at us to prove it. Pair that with Karen Briggs sawing through jazz-fusion at Keystone Korner, a brewery lecture on Baltimore's most haunted house, and Rosemary's Baby flickering back onto the Senator's big screen for the season, and you've got a Wednesday that refuses to be a Wednesday. 30 verified things to do tonight — let's get into it.

🆕 What's New

The 8x10 is officially back in business. Baltimore's beloved 10 E. Cross St. venue — the one that went up for sale, got "closing avoided" headlines, and spent the summer dark — has reopened under new ownership: Rising Sun Presents, in partnership with Cris Jacobs and Dave Rather. Tonight's Skeleton Crewe show (see our Bonus Pick below) is the room back in action.

⭐ Our Bonus Pick

Skeleton Crewe @ The 8x10

Doors 6:30 PM, show 7:30 PM · 10 E. Cross St. · tickets via Tixr

We said it above and we'll say it again because it deserves its own spotlight: The 8x10 is back. Baltimore almost lost this room for good this year — it went up for sale, got "closing avoided" headlines, went dark for the summer — and now it's reopening under new ownership (Rising Sun Presents, with Cris Jacobs and Dave Rather behind it) with a lineup that could headline a festival: Rob Barraco, Stephen Inglis, Jay Lane, Pete Sears, and Barry Sless, playing as Skeleton Crewe. This isn't just a show, it's a Federal Hill institution getting its pulse back. Be in the room for it.

That's a Wrap!

That's 30 verified things to do in Baltimore tonight — from a legendary venue's comeback show to a quiet noodle-shop open mic. Tomorrow we've got Mary Shelley's Frankenstein opening at Chesapeake Shakespeare Company and a Thursday-night supply surge already shaping up to be one of the biggest of the week. Until then: yodel it from the rooftops. 🗣️⛰️
